PEGASUS SEWER AUTHORITY  Conemaugh Township, Cambria County  Johnstown, Pennsylvania

It is the question which comes to mind first on hearing our name.

And lovers of animals and mythical beasts may be a little scandalized that we would take the name of the famous flying horse for our waste water authority.
 

Well...

We could tell you that we are enamored of the symbolism of the pure white flying beast and the simile created by using it for the name of our new public sewer authority with a new sewage collection line which will provide a realistic solution to hundreds of malfunctioning on lot sewage systems in our community,

or...

We could tell you that because of the existence of two municipalities, both named Conemaugh Township in the Greater Johnstown area, and the fact that the "Other Conemaugh Township" already has created a "Conemaugh Township Sewer Authority", that we had to come up with a unique name to distinguish our operation,

or....

We could tell you we just like the name.
