PEGASUS SEWER AUTHORITY Conemaugh Township, Cambria County  Johnstown, Pennsylvania Phase 2 Sewer Project Maps Financial Time Table

The Pegasus Sewer Authority applied for and received a $3.26 million 30 year low interest loan from the Pennsylvania Infrastructure Investment Authority to construct phase 2 of our sewage collection system. Construction bids were let in November of 1997 and a Notice of Award was issued to the low bidder, Glen Johnston Inc. in March of 1998.  Construction is due to begin at the end of April 1998 with completion in November of 1998. Operations are expected to begin January 1, 1999. Some parts of the system may come on line sooner. The project will connect a total of 585 residents to the sewage system and provide a crucial link that will allow the Johnstown Cambria County Airport to develop their own connection to the system .
