The Pegasus Sewer Authority has received notification from the Unites States Army Corps of Engineers of its intention to enter into a contract with the Authority for the design, construction, property acquisition and operation of an an extension from the phase 2 sewer system along Frankstown Road near the intersection of Carmel St.. The sewer system extension, referred to as "phase 3" will run up the Wissinger Hollow valley to a point on the western side of Airport Road opposite the Johnstown Cambria County Airport terminal. The extension would provide public sewer service to military, public and commercial facilities at the Johnstown - Cambria County Airport.
